Risk management, negotiations and influence, conflict management, team development, systems analysis, decision-making techniques, knowledge management, leadership, and communications.
Guided eight PhD students globally. Advised hundreds of graduate students at WCU and GWU.

As a subject matter expert, consultant, and trainer, conducted more than twenty seminars and 15 training programs for middle and senior management level engineers and corporate management on writing case studies, risk management, knowledge management, project management, critical chain, PMO, and portfolio management.

- Conducted systems analysis, identified user requirements, and designed databases for a new information system, Environmental Information Clearinghouse, USAID.
- Designed and conducted a global survey about existing greenhouse gas mitigation support technology infrastructure in several countries. Prepared a report to Department of Energy.
