MItra created mathematical models to characterize the growth of brain tumors.
After graduating from WCU, Mitra earned a PhD in mechanical engineering at Clemson University.

Mitra is developing better models to understand tumor growth and progression. Through her research we hope to develop a better understanding of how cancer can be treated and ultimately improve patient outcomes. She is now a PhD studnet in Mechancial Engineering at Clemson University.
