Tau Beta Pi Alumni & Guests

On March 18th, 2023, we will be installing a new chapter of Tau Beta Pi at Western Carolina University. We invite you to help us celebrate our achievement!

Because this only happens once in a university’s history, we are also planning social events around the chapter installation ceremony. For those arriving earlier, we are planning campus tours, casual social events, an easy greenway walk or a robust mountain hike, and a celebration at a local brewery after the chapter installation – We’ve even booked a band from Charlotte! If you can find time, block your calendar for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning (to travel home) and spend a weekend in the mountains!  Here is a detailed schedule of what we have planned for you – Schedule.

Most out-of-town guests have booked rooms at the Best Western Plus River Escape Inn & Suites in Dillsboro, NC.  This will also be the meeting location for the hike and walk.
